Oh Hello!
My name is Marisa and I am the founder and creative designer for Highland + Honey.
I'm originally from New York! I've been making and creating since the age of two. Just ask my mom about my crayon collection. I also have a degree in Studio Art and Art History from Providence College in Rhode Island.
In 2015 I packed my bags and moved from the USA to Scotland (for love)! In 2019 I created Highland + Honey to combine my love of illustration, styling, home decor, and celebrating the magic of the seasons.
Most of the time I can be found in leggings and a top knot packing and creating in my Glasgow studio. I'm a total introvert and I love wathcing movies in my PJ's, hanging out with my other half, going on long walks, and gathering loads of inspiration for new collections!

I grew up in New York state surrounded by mountains, trees, and the magic of the countryside. I used to hike and explore in a local wood called Highland Forest. Growing up I felt the magic of the world and trees around me. After moving to Scotland, I found my heart being pulled to another Highlands and I fell in love.
It is this unqiue, fun, and magical spirit that I try and pack in every order.
And a sprinkle of honey.
